Welcome aboard. I’m Anne Conrad, owner of Captain’s Log Travel in Vermilion, Ohio, on the shores of Lake Erie. I founded this agency out of a genuine love of the sea and of travel itself, and I started it so I could share that love — and the destinations I discover — with my clients.
When I travel, I look for places that feel welcoming and safe, where you can relax, explore, and be looked after well. Those are the destinations I bring home and share with my clients — from the Caribbean to Alaska, and from Italy to Australia.

LGBTQ+ travel is a specialty close to my heart — many of my clients are couples, friends, and groups from the community who book with me because I understand the trip from the inside.
And a word about Kathy, because this isn’t really a one-woman show. I’m the one who plans and books your trip, but Kathy is right there behind the scenes — keeping a hundred other things moving, at the office and at home, that my planning hours would otherwise take me away from. Without her, I couldn’t do this — or much of anything else — the way I do. When a trip comes together smoothly, some of that is her work, too.
